The Digital Healthcare Consultant is responsible to help healthcare organization leverage digital technologies to improve patient care, optimize operations, and enhance efficiency, he should have expertise in healthcare IT, digital transformation, and emerging healthcare technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Strategy & Transformation: Design, develop and implement digital strategies that enhance healthcare delivery and operational efficiency and collaborate with clinical and technical clients to understand their business needs and assist in the design and delivery of digitally enabled services.
- Technology Assessment & Integration: Evaluate, recommend, and integrate digital health solutions , and oversee the technical development process, and conduct technical quality checks and review the progress of development ensuring that functionality delivered aligns with the approved technical architecture and business requirements.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in clinical and administrative workflows and propose tech-driven improvements.
- Regulatory Compliance & Data Security: Ensure digital health solutions comply with HIPAA, GDPR, FHIR, HL7, and other relevant regulations.
- Data Analytics & Insights: Use data-driven approaches to enhance patient care, predict trends, and improve decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers, IT teams, and executives to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
Project Management: Oversee the successful implementation of digital health initiatives, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets and perform technical risk assessments during the ideation and design phases, and identify and communicate technical risks to leadership, operational, legal and compliance teams for early mitigation
