Head of Investment Department
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in investment and finance, particularly in managing large investment portfolios.
- Strong skills in financial planning, investment analysis, and risk management.
- Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Holding professional certifications in finance (e.g., CFA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:-
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization’s investment vision, ensuring alignment with Sharia principles and long-term financial objectives.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing investment team, fostering a culture of innovation, ethical responsibility, and continuous professional growth.
Portfolio Management
- Supervise a diversified portfolio spanning equities, sukuk, real estate, private equity, and alternative investments, ensuring adherence to Sharia standards.
- Optimize asset allocation strategies to balance risk and return, consistently outperforming industry benchmarks.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Establish and maintain comprehensive risk management frameworks, incorporating Sharia auditing and governance to mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and ethical screening, ensuring all investments comply with **AAOIFI** (Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions) standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with external investment managers, financial institutions, and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and access to high-quality investment opportunities.
- Provide regular reports on investment performance and risk metrics to the board of directors, ensuring transparency and strengthening stakeholder confidence.
Financial Modeling and Feasibility Studies
- Develop detailed financial models to assess investment opportunities, project returns, and optimize decision-making.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and ventures, evaluating market potential, financial viability, and risk factors to ensure strategic alignment and sustainable growth.
