Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect (EA) or Solution Architect with proven banking sector experience and COBIT certification to support a strategic, six-month project-based engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking technology, enterprise architecture, solution design, and IT governance, ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, security standards, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review enterprise and solution architecture aligned with the bank's business and technology strategy.
- Assess existing banking systems and define target-state architecture and technology roadmaps.
- Apply COBIT principles to strengthen IT governance, risk management, controls, and compliance.
- Design and evaluate banking technology solutions, system integrations, and application architectures.
- Ensure alignment with banking regulations, information security policies, and applicable compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance departments.
- Support the integration and modernization of core banking systems, digital banking platforms, payment systems, and related applications.
- Prepare architecture documentation, solution designs, technical assessments, and recommendations.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet scalability, availability, security, and performance requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or in a similar architecture role.
- Mandatory COBIT certification.
- Mandatory experience in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, enterprise applications, system integration, and IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of IT governance, operational risk, regulatory compliance, and information security.
- Experience with digital banking, core banking platforms, payment systems, or banking transformation projects is an advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
