About the Role
We are looking for an Android Developer to build and maintain high-quality, secure, and scalable applications for our customers. You will collaborate with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver great mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Implement features based on UI/UX designs and business requirements.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following modern architecture (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/SDKs.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.
- Identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues across devices and OS versions.
- Ensure application security and data protection.
- Manage releases and publishing via Google Play Console.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin. Java knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and XML-based layouts.
- Solid knowledge of Android Jetpack (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Room, Navigation, WorkManager).
- Experience with Coroutines and Flow.
- Experience with dependency injection (Hilt, Dagger, or Koin).
- Experience with REST APIs and networking libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp).
- Experience with Git, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Experience with unit and UI testing (JUnit, Mockito/MockK, Espresso).
- Understanding of the Android lifecycle, memory management, and Material Design guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Plus)
- Experience developing mobile banking or fintech applications.
- Knowledge of mobile security: Keystore, certificate pinning, biometric authentication, root detection, ProGuard/R8 obfuscation, Play Integrity API.
- Familiarity with payment, KYC/eKYC , and OTP/2FA flows, and with regulatory standards (PCI DSS, OWASP MASVS).
- Experience with push notifications (FCM), deep linking, and analytics/crash tools (Firebase, Crashlytics).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane).
- Experience with multi-module apps and Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Arabic/English bilingual and RTL support experience.
