Summary
We are seeking a skilled Backend Drupal Developer with 5 years of experience in designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining secure and scalable Drupal-based digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Drupal development, backend architecture, custom module development, API integrations, and database management, with a focus on delivering high-performance, reliable, and maintainable digital solutions.
Key Responsibility
· Develop and maintain custom Drupal modules, entities, plugins, services, and APIs.
· Build and maintain REST/JSON:API integrations with internal and external systems.
· Design content models, workflows, permissions, and configuration management.
· Optimize application performance, caching, database queries, and reliability.
· Apply secure coding practices, access controls, and Drupal security updates.
· Write automated tests, review code, and troubleshoot production issues.
· Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
· Support CI/CD pipelines, release processes, technical documentation, and incident resolution.
Required Qualification
· Strong proficiency in PHP, object-oriented programming, and Drupal architecture.
· 5 years Experience with Drupal custom development, Composer, Drush, and configuration management.
· Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON:API, authentication, and system integrations.
· Working knowledge of SQL databases, Git, and modern development workflows.
· Understanding of web security, performance optimization, and testing.
· Ability to analyze requirements, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
Skills
· Experience with Drupal 10/11, Symfony components, and headless Drupal.
· Exposure to Docker, cloud environments, CI/CD, and observability tools.
· Familiarity with accessibility and enterprise application standards.
