About the role.
Dough Union is looking for a Waiter to welcome guests, take accurate orders, and keep service attentive from arrival to payment.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Amman, with positions at Swefieh Village and Khalda.
Responsibilities.
- Welcome guests, present the menu, and answer questions about dishes and ingredients.
- Take orders accurately and communicate clearly with the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages and check on guests throughout their visit.
- Respond to requests and concerns, involving the manager when needed.
- Prepare, clear, and reset tables.
- Process payments and handle cash and receipts accurately.
- Keep service areas clean, organized, and ready for guests.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Work with the team to keep service moving during busy periods.
Qualifications.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with restaurant service and basic food preparation.
- Ability to manage several tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling payments.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- A professional, respectful, and reliable approach to work.
- Previous restaurant or café experience is an advantage.
- Food safety and hygiene knowledge is preferred.
