Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the bank's IT data center infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement strategies for infrastructure expansion, upgrades, and optimization to support business growth and technological advancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols within the data center operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs and IT strategy.
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for data center services and equipment.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Prepare and manage the budget for the IT data center infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CDCP would be advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within a data center environment.
Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities.
- Proficiency in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
