Job Purpose
Lead strategic transformation projects for the Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector and propose initiatives and projects based on globally recognized methodologies and best practices, such as Agile Strategic Transformation, in a manner that ensures alignment with the Bank’s strategic objectives. Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders, departments, and units within the sector to ensure the enhancement and development of the Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector’s operations at the Group level, while improving the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic transformation projects for the Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector in alignment with the Bank’s strategic objectives.
- Initiate, propose, and lead strategic initiatives in coordination with the Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector, leveraging in-depth knowledge of business processes and functions, while ensuring alignment with the Bank’s long-term vision and strategic objectives.
- Assess the impact of strategic transformation initiatives on corporate customer service, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Data Management Department at the organizational level to provide the required data for analysis and decision-making, in coordination with the Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector, regarding the launch of strategic projects and initiatives that support the department’s strategic objectives and institutional transformation goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of various transformation initiatives within the Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management highlighting the progress, challenges, and achievements of strategic transformation initiatives within the Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector.
- Work closely with various departments across the Bank to ensure that the strategic transformation processes of the Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector are integrated with the Bank’s overall objectives and support these departments in achieving their respective goals.
- Lead strategic change management initiatives within the Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector in coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation, and ensure that the resulting changes are reflected in the sector’s policies and day-to-day practices.
- Develop plans for initiatives and projects to be implemented within the Bank’s Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s strategic objectives. Coordinate with the direct manager and the Enterprise Project Management Department to identify the requirements needed for successful execution, including project team members, expected timelines, and the financial, technical, and administrative resources required to deliver the initiatives effectively.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with approved budgets for all initiatives and projects implemented within the sector through regular monitoring and review of financial matters and related expenditures. Make decisions that contribute to the optimal utilization of resources, cost control, and adherence to transformation project budgets within delegated authorities.
- Define key objectives and performance indicators (KPIs) for institutional transformation initiatives within the Corporate and Financial Institutions Sector to measure objectives, achieved results, effectiveness, and overall impact at the department level.
- Apply best practices in managing institutional transformation processes through the use of Agile Methodology, tailored to the nature of the sector’s operations at the organizational level. Maintain a strong focus on corporate customer needs, ensuring the required flexibility and responsiveness, while establishing a continuous feedback mechanism to support ongoing development and improvement.
- Serve as a primary or alternate member of the officially established Business Continuity Plan and Emergency Response Teams, carrying out all duties assigned under the plan to minimize the impact of crises and restore operations as quickly as possible.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in leading strategic transformation projects, organizational transformation, project management, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Project Management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
- Professional certification in Change Management, such as Prosci Change Management and/or ADKAR, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Bank’s products, services, and business operations.
- Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Strong ability to lead, manage, and adapt to organizational change.
- Good knowledge of the policies, procedures, regulations, and governance frameworks governing the Bank’s operations, including internal and external updates.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments and business units.
- Strong project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple transformation initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within agreed scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in organizational and strategic transformation initiatives.
