Role Description The Retail Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, Jordan, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. This role includes supervising and coaching store staff, managing schedules, and maintaining a safe, organized, and visually appealing retail environment. The manager monitors sales performance, implements promotional activities, and manages inventory, including stock levels, ordering, and loss prevention measures. They handle customer inquiries and escalations, ensure service standards are met, and track customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement. The role also involves reporting operational and sales metrics to leadership, enforcing company policies, and supporting continuous process and performance improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering a positive in-store experience.
- Effective interpersonal and Communication skills to lead teams, engage customers, and collaborate with management.
- Hands-on Store Management experience in a retail environment, including staff supervision, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring shrinkage, enforcing store policies, and promoting operational controls.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets, analyze performance metrics, and implement initiatives to improve results.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accountability for store outcomes.
- Experience managing or leading teams in retail or a similar customer-facing environment; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office) to manage reports and store documentation.
- High school diploma required; a degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage.
