"A leading development institution is seeking to recruit an Investment Analyst to join its Investment Team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial, operational, and developmental studies related to the institution's investments, develop financial valuation models, and provide investment recommendations.
Analyze the performance of portfolio companies by reviewing financial statements, periodic reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and variances against approved plans.
Contribute to the evaluation of existing investments and the assessment of new investment, expansion, and exit opportunities.
Monitor Board of Directors and General Assembly activities, review reports submitted by the institution's representatives, and assess companies' compliance with corporate governance requirements.
Prepare periodic investment portfolio reports and presentations, and provide recommendations to support management's decision making.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in investment, financial analysis, portfolio management, or company valuation. Experience within investment institutions, investment funds, or development organizations is preferred.
