Role Description
The HR Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role involves managing employee relations, handling recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including posting job ads, shortlisting candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records, including personal information, job history, and performance evaluations.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters such as policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment and communication with staff.
- Coordinate and assist in the implementation of employee training and development programs.
- Support the performance appraisal process by tracking deadlines, gathering necessary documentation, and following up with managers.
- Monitor and manage employee attendance, leave records, and timekeeping systems.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies, and assist in preparing for audits.
- Manage the HR documentation process, including the preparation of employment contracts, termination letters, and other official HR correspondence.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs.
- Provide support in conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with company goals.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and contribute to HR initiatives that enhance the work environment.
