About the Role
Our client, a growing technology-driven company in Amman, is expanding its engineering team and looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of its applications. The ideal candidate is methodical, passionate about quality, and enjoys catching issues before they reach users, working closely with developers to test features, track issues, and support smooth releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web and/or mobile applications
- Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution
- Perform manual and/or automated testing to ensure product quality
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues found during testing
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on the testability of features
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features don't break existing functionality
- Prepare and maintain clear test documentation and reports
- Support release and deployment testing for smooth product launches
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance / testing
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual testing; exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is a plus
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
- Basic understanding of SQL for data validation
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, analytical approach to testing
