Role Description Assisting in executing a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory services.
• Perform market & sector research as needed
• Perform detailed financial modeling for firm’s clients across various sectors
• Perform detailed due diligence on the firm’s clients by analyzing historical financial statements and assisting them in projecting their future business plans
• Supervise the drafting of information memoranda, prospectuses, and road show presentations related to advisory and placement assignments
• Perform detailed financial valuation using valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow analysis (DCF) and comparable company analysis
• Liaise with government bodies (Jordan Securities Commission, Securities Depository Center, Amman Stock Exchange and others) to complete transactions related to capital raising, IPOs and bond issuances
• Perform financial advisory work related to privatization transactions, including drafting information memoranda, inception and restructuring reports, management presentations and setting up data rooms
• Cooperate with the Head of Corporate Finance in book building for bond issuances
• Train and mentor junior financial analysts
Qualifications
- Strong Finance knowledge with experience in Financial Planning and investment analysis.
- Advanced Analytical Skills and proficiency in interpreting Financial Statements.
- Hands-on experience in Financial Reporting and preparing management and regulatory reports.
- Proficiency with financial modeling, Excel, and relevant financial analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, ) is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Prior experience in brokerage, banking, or capital markets is preferred.
