Responsible for generating and managing corporate catering and banqueting sales for Daimeh & Al Karma. The role focuses on selling corporate catering solutions, promoting and booking Daimeh meeting rooms, preparing suitable food and beverage packages, coordinating event requirements, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring accurate follow-up from enquiry through to event completion.
The role contributes to revenue growth through corporate catering orders, meeting-room bookings, coffee breaks, working lunches, buffet services, and other corporate hospitality requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
Sales
Sales and Business Development
• Identifies corporate clients, institutions, organizations, and business sectors with potential catering, meeting-room, and event requirements.
• Builds and maintains a pipeline of corporate catering leads, meeting-room enquiries, recurring clients, and potential event opportunities.
• Contacts prospective clients to introduce Daime’s catering services, meeting rooms, coffee-break packages, lunch packages, buffet options, and related hospitality offerings.
• Conducts client meetings, site visits, and meeting-room walkthroughs to present available facilities, menus, capacities, packages, and service options.
• Prepares quotations, proposals, package selections, and booking confirmations based on client requirements, number of guests, event format, timing, menu preferences, and budget.
• Follows up on catering enquiries, meeting-room bookings, proposals, quotations, and pending approvals to support conversion.
• Promotes Daimeh meeting rooms for corporate meetings, workshops, training sessions, interviews, seminars, launches, and small corporate events.
• Promotes catering packages including coffee breaks, breakfast options, business lunches, working lunches, buffet services, boxed meals, and customized corporate menus.
• Identifies opportunities for repeat business, seasonal catering, annual corporate agreements, recurring meetings, and packaged venue and catering solutions.
• Maintains updated knowledge of available menus, pricing, room capacities, equipment, service options, booking terms, and operational requirements.
• Collects and shares client feedback, competitor activity, market requirements, and new corporate hospitality requests with the line manager.
• Ensure timely collection of customer payments in accordance with company credit policies.
Client Management:
• Builds and maintains professional relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients.
• Responds to client enquiries with accurate information on menu options, room availability, seating arrangements, equipment, service timing, pricing, and booking conditions.
• Understands client requirements and recommends suitable catering and meeting-room packages.
• Maintains regular contact with assigned corporate accounts to identify upcoming meetings, events, conferences, staff gatherings, and catering requirements.
• Conducts follow-up after completed events to confirm client satisfaction and identify opportunities for future business.
• Handles client concerns and coordinates resolution with relevant internal teams.
• Supports the preparation of client presentations, menu selections, tasting arrangements, venue visits, and event proposals when required.
•Responsible for staying up to date with all function- or department-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring personal compliance”
Event Coordination and Order Management
• Coordinates confirmed catering orders and meeting-room bookings with kitchen, operations, service, facilities, finance, and relevant internal teams.
• Ensures client requirements are clearly documented, including guest count, menu selection, dietary requirements, timing, room setup, equipment, branding, service expectations, and payment requirements.
• Maintains organized records of quotations, booking confirmations, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, event requirements, and client correspondence.
• Follows up on payment terms, deposits, purchase orders, and invoice requirements in coordination with the finance team.
• Supports the preparation of event briefs and handover details for operational teams before each confirmed booking.
• Confirms room readiness, catering arrangements, service timing, and event requirements before the scheduled date.
• Prepares periodic reports covering sales pipeline, confirmed bookings, catering revenue, meeting-room occupancy, lost opportunities, recurring clients, and upcoming events.
CRM Discipline and KPI Tracking
- Records all sales activities, client interactions, quotations, proposals, orders, follow-up actions, and outcomes on the approved CRM system.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date CRM records for all corporate customers, leads, sales opportunities, and orders.
- Ensures CRM entries are completed on time, as sales pipeline visibility, funnel conversion rates, activity KPIs, order conversion, and revenue performance are measured through the CRM.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Event Management, or another related field.
- Excellent English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate sales, account management, business development, retail, FMCG, gifting, hospitality, or a related field..
- Practical experience in sales follow-up, customer relationship management, lead generation, and order coordination.
- Experience using CRM systems, sales trackers, Microsoft Office applications, and customer databases.
- Familiarity with corporate gifting, retail products, handmade products, food products, or customer-facing sales environments is an advantage.
