Arab Therapy is looking for a motivated and self-driven Business Development Officer to build partnerships with NGOs, INGOs, donors, foundations, and development organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and evaluate relevant tenders, grants, RFPs, donor opportunities, and potential partnerships based on eligibility, strategic fit, requirements, deadlines, and value.
- Conduct market and donor research, identify potential partners, understand funding priorities and organizational needs, and find relevant data, evidence, and resources.
- Proactively approach potential partners and decision-makers, build relationships, conduct discovery meetings, and identify areas of collaboration.
- Manage the full business development and proposal process from initial outreach and opportunity assessment through proposal development, negotiation, submission, follow-up, and partnership closure.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect technical, financial, operational, and administrative information and prepare tailored proposals, concept notes, expressions of interest, presentations, and partnership concepts.
- Ensure all submissions meet donor requirements, formats, eligibility criteria, and deadlines.
- Maintain an accurate BD pipeline and organized tracker of opportunities, deadlines, submissions, results, and next steps, with consistent follow-up.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude for advanced research, tender analysis, opportunity assessment, outreach, proposal development, and productivity.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, proposals, grants, fundraising, or sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, Development Studies, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong Arabic and English communication and writing skills.
- Excellent research, coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.
- Advanced ability to use AI tools effectively for research, analysis, writing, and workflow improvement.
- Experience with NGOs, INGOs, tenders, grants, or donor-funded projects is a strong advantage.
