Generates and manages corporate catering and banqueting sales for Daimeh & Al Karma by promoting meeting rooms, tailoring packages, coordinating events, and maintaining client relationships to drive revenue growth.
Sales
Sales and Business Development
- Identifies and builds relationships with corporate clients, institutions, and organizations with potential catering, meeting-room, and event requirements, while maintaining a pipeline of leads and recurring opportunities.
- Introduces Daimeh’s catering services and meeting-room offerings to prospective clients through calls, meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs showcasing facilities, menus, capacities, and packages.
- Prepares tailored quotations, proposals, package selections, and booking confirmations based on client requirements, guest count, event format, timing, menu preferences, and budget.
- Follows up on enquiries, proposals, quotations, and pending approvals to support conversion, ensuring timely collection of customer payments in line with company credit policies.
- Promotes Daimeh meeting rooms for corporate events such as workshops, training sessions, interviews, seminars, launches, and small gatherings.
- Market catering packages including coffee breaks, breakfast options, business lunches, working lunches, buffet services, boxed meals, and customized corporate menus.
- Identifies opportunities for repeat business, seasonal catering, annual agreements, and bundled venue-and-catering solutions, while maintaining updated knowledge of menus, pricing, capacities, equipment, and competitor activity.
Client Management:
- Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with corporate clients, responding promptly to enquiries with accurate information on menus, room availability, pricing, and service conditions.
- Understands client requirements, recommends suitable catering and meeting-room packages, and maintains regular contact to identify upcoming meetings, events, and catering needs.
- Conducts follow-up after events to confirm satisfaction, identify opportunities for repeat business, and handle client concerns by coordinating resolution with internal teams.
- Supports client engagement through presentations, menu selections, tastings, venue visits, and event proposals when required.
- Responsible for staying up to date with all function- or department-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring personal compliance.
Event Coordination and Order Management
- Coordinates confirmed catering orders and meeting-room bookings with kitchen, operations, service, facilities, finance, and other internal teams, ensuring client requirements are clearly documented (guest count, menu, dietary needs, timing, room setup, equipment, branding, and payment terms).
- Maintains organized records of quotations, booking confirmations, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, event requirements, and client correspondence, while following up on deposits and payment schedules with the finance team.
- Prepares event briefs and handover details for operational teams, confirming room readiness, catering arrangements, and service timing before each scheduled event.
- Generates periodic reports covering sales pipeline, confirmed bookings, catering revenue, meeting-room occupancy, lost opportunities, recurring clients, and upcoming events.
CRM Discipline and KPI Tracking
- Accurately records all sales activities, client interactions, quotations, proposals, orders, follow-up actions, and outcomes in the approved CRM system, maintaining up-to-date records for customers, leads, and opportunities.
- Ensures timely and complete CRM entries to provide visibility into the sales pipeline, track funnel conversion rates, measure activity KPIs, monitor order conversion, and evaluate overall revenue performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Event Management, or another related field.
- Excellent English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken).
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate sales, account management, business development, retail, FMCG, gifting, hospitality, or a related field.
- Practical experience in sales follow-up, customer relationship management, lead generation, and order coordination.
- Experience using CRM systems, sales trackers, Microsoft Office applications, and customer databases.
- Familiarity with corporate gifting, retail products, handmade products, food products, or customer-facing sales environments is an advantage.
