Job Description:
We are hiring a talented Risk Officer - Crypto professional to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and monitor enterprise-wide risks across all business areas.
- Maintain the risk register and risk appetite framework, including risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and escalate breaches to senior management and the Board.
- Assess operational, market, liquidity, credit/counterparty, technology, and regulatory risks.
- Review new products, counterparties, and business changes from a risk perspective.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and support risk-related audits.
- Prepare and present periodic risk reports to senior management and the Board.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of risk management experience within a regulated financial institution.
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks, risk registers, and risk appetite.
- Experience in operational risk, KRI monitoring, and risk reporting.
- Knowledge of market and counterparty risk is a plus.
- Crypto/virtual asset risk experience is preferred but not required.
- Must meet JSC Fit & Proper criteria and obtain accreditation prior to licensing.
