Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Amman. The Insurance Agent will identify prospective clients, explain MetLife Jordan’s insurance products, and recommend solutions tailored to individual and business needs. Daily responsibilities include meeting clients in person or by phone, conducting needs assessments, preparing quotations, and managing the end-to-end sales process from initial contact through policy issuance. The role also involves providing ongoing customer service, supporting policy renewals, handling inquiries and claims-related questions, and maintaining accurate records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Insurance Agent will collaborate with internal teams, participate in regular sales meetings and training, and work toward achieving individual and team sales targets in a professional and compliant manner.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to advise clients and close suitable policies.
- Background in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to understand products, pricing, and financial planning needs.
- Strong Customer Service capabilities to build relationships, handle inquiries, and support policyholders throughout the insurance lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong negotiation, follow-up, and time-management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in insurance are an advantage.
- Familiarity with the local market in Amman and proficiency in English and Arabic are beneficial.
- Ethical, client-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and within a team structure.
