The Solution Advisor (Mendix & App Modernization) supports the Digital Solutions team by bridging technical expertise and business development. The role leads solution design, Pre-sales, technical proposals, and proof-of-concept delivery to drive customer acquisition and opportunity conversion across the GCC region (excluding UAE).
Roles & Responsibilities
Solution Design & Pre-Sales Support
- Work with the sales team to understand customer challenges and requirements
- Translate business needs into high-level solution architectures and technology approaches
- Support customer discovery sessions, workshops, and technical discussions
Technical Proposals & Opportunity Support
- Prepare and contribute to technical proposals, statements of work (SOW), and solution documentation
- Define scope, initial plan, assumptions, dependencies, and delivery considerations
- Support RFP/RFI responses and opportunity qualification
Demonstrations & Proof of Concept
- Assist in building solution demos and proof-of-concept applications to showcase proposed capabilities
- Prepare demo scenarios aligned with customer use cases and business value
Architecture & Technical Documentation
- Create architecture diagrams, workflows, and technical solution overviews
- Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to validate design feasibility
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with delivery teams to support effort estimation, resource planning, and implementation considerations
- Maintain reusable solution templates, demo environments, and proposal materials
Requirements
Qualification and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Mendix certification (Rapid Developer or Advanced Developer) is strongly preferred
- Certifications in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, or application modernization frameworks are an advantage
Minimum Experience/Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role
- Hands-on experience with the Mendix low-code platform development, configuration, and demos, delivery
- Strong understanding of application modernization concepts, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture.
- Proven ability or willingness to create technical proposals, SOW documents, and architecture documentation
- Experience supporting RFP/RFI responses and managing opportunity qualification processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills able to engage both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to build and deliver compelling demos and proof-of-concept applications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and integration technologies is an advantage
- Prior exposure to GCC market dynamics and enterprise clients is preferred
