Role Description The Production Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Amman. The Production Manager oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that bespoke furniture, joinery, and custom woodworks are produced on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. This includes planning and scheduling production, monitoring workflow, managing materials and inventory, and coordinating with design, engineering, and installation teams. The role is responsible for supervising production staff, enforcing health and safety procedures, and continuously improving processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. The Production Manager also tracks production metrics, prepares reports for leadership, and supports client requirements by maintaining clear communication on project timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within furniture manufacturing, joinery, or related woodworking industries.
- Strong skills in production planning, workflow optimization, and resource allocation, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience leading production teams, including coaching, performance management, and fostering a safe, inclusive work environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and materials used in bespoke furniture and architectural joinery.
- Ability to implement and maintain quality control standards, with attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in a workshop or factory setting.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, including use of production data and KPIs to drive improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners or clients.
- Proficiency with production management or ERP software and basic office applications.
- Relevant technical or engineering degree/diploma in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Experience in Amman or the regional market; English proficiency is an advantage.
