Accountabilities & Key Roles:
- Assets tracking, recording, tagging and updating of asset movements, conditions, and inventory.
- Maintain accurate assets register with frequent verification and reconciliation
- Investigate discrepancies & ensure corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, assets management standards and regulatory standards
- Conduct regular inspections of assets to ensure assets compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers for asset-related activities.
- Maintain accurate reports, records and documentation of asset transactions, utilization, and status.
- Assist with asset tagging, labeling, and physical verification processes.
- Respond to asset-related inquiries and provide assistance during audits or inspections.
- Receive, inspect & record new assts in the asset register system
- Assist in a periodic asset audits & physical verification
- Ensure proper storage, transportation & handling of assets
- Coordinate assets distribution and collection across bank.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor degree in assets management or related fields
- Additional training or certification in assets management or facilities management .
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in assets management
- Experience in banking sector and facilities management
