Job Purpose:
The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all branch operations within the Free Zone, ensuring the achievement of business targets, portfolio growth, and exceptional customer service. The role focuses on driving profitability, managing risk, and developing a high-performing team in alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the branch’s portfolio, including loans, deposits and other banking products, to achieve financial targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to ensure high performance, engagement, and adherence to bank policies.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards and build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the Free Zone.
- Monitor branch performance, prepare reports, and implement action plans to meet KPIs.
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales initiatives to expand the customer base.
- Manage risk effectively, ensuring proper credit evaluation and operational controls.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of banking experience, with at least 2 years of proven experience in managerial level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or any related field.
- Proven experience in managing teams and driving business performance.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, credit, and risk management practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
