Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant – Inventory & Distribution role based in Amman. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing inventory and stock levels, processing journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting and financial records. Day-to-day tasks include tracking inventory-flows, performing financial analysis, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in inventory-based accounting and be highly proficient in QuickBooks Desktop
Key Requirements
• Minimum 3 years accounting experience in an inventory-based business (not service-only companies)
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
• Experience managing inventory, COGS, and vendor transactions
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in QuickBooks Desktop
• Track and reconcile inventory transactions and cost of goods sold
• Process vendor bills, payments, and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Assist with month-end closing and financial analysis
Preferred Background
• Experience in wholesale, distribution, or electronics trading companies
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting workflows
