Position: Finance & Accounting Officer

Role Description
The Finance & Accounting Officer will be responsible for supporting day-to-day financial and accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports and summaries, performing reconciliations with service providers, partners, merchants, and internal records, and following up on payments, settlements, commissions, salaries, vendor payments, and company expenses.
The role also includes supporting budgeting, cash flow tracking, basic financial analysis, documentation, and compliance with internal financial procedures and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations.
- Good knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
- Experience or familiarity with accounting/financial software.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- High degree of accuracy in financial record-keeping and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Good communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
- Motivated, ambitious, and excited to grow with the company.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience or interest in fintech, payments, startups, or financial services.
- Familiarity with reconciliations, settlements, commissions, merchant payments, payroll, or vendor payments.
