Restoring Hope Society (RHS) is a Jordanian non-profit organization delivering holistic, people-centered rehabilitation — prosthetics, physical rehabilitation, and psychosocial support — to people affected by limb loss in conflict-affected and fragile settings, with operations centered in Gaza and expanding regionally.
We are seeking a Senior Finance Officer to strengthen financial management and reporting as RHS scales its operations and donor portfolio.
Reports to: Director of Support and Finance
Department: Finance
Location: Amman, Jordan (national position)
Duration: 1 year, renewable based on performance and funding
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reconciliations
- Prepare donor financial reports in compliance with grant agreements and donor requirements
- Support budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis across programs
- Ensure compliance with RHS financial policies, procurement rules, and internal controls
- Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
- Support cash flow planning and forecasting
- Coordinate with program teams on budget utilization and financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA a plus)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, ideally with an INGO/NGO or donor-funded environment
- Strong knowledge of donor compliance (USAID, ECHO, UN agencies, or similar)
- Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under deadline pressure
