We’re hiring: Senior X++ Developer / D365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant
📍 Location: Amman, Jordan (On-site)
On behalf of a leading client, we are looking for a Senior X++ Developer / D365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end technical solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
This role goes beyond coding. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance technical solutions, lead technical design decisions, and mentor junior developers while ensuring best-in-class development practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, integrations, and reports using X++.
- Own technical solution design across D365FO modules.
- Translate business requirements into efficient and scalable technical designs.
- Build integrations using Data Entities, OData, Azure services, and custom APIs.
- Perform performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Enforce coding standards, best practices, and conduct code reviews.
- Manage builds, releases, and deployments using Azure DevOps.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Support production issues and hotfix activities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on X++ development in D365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong understanding of D365FO architecture (AOT, tables, classes, forms, workflows, data entities).
- Solid experience with extensions, event handlers, and SysOperation framework.
- Strong knowledge of D365FO data model and integration frameworks.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio, LCS, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with SSRS report development.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong Plus:
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate.
- Experience with performance optimization and scalable system design.
- Exposure to Power BI, Dataverse, or Dual-write.
