The Position
The Opportunity
To drive the commercial success of assigned Disease Areas by translating organizational strategies into integrated implementation plans. This role provides inspirational leadership to set the vision of the DAs, championing marketing excellence and omnichannel engagement to optimize patient flows and deliver measurable business results
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision & Alignment: Define a clear vision for the Disease Area that aligns regional goals with global outcomes, ensuring all efforts contribute to a unified impact
- Market & Customer Intelligence: Build a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to inform high-level decision-making
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Commercialization Leads, Ecosystem teams, Medical, and Access to ensure coordinated execution and strategic alignment across therapeutic areas
- Integrated Tactical Planning: Develop localized implementation plans that optimize patient flows and set ambitious targets for patient market share
- Digital & Omnichannel Integration: Use digital tools and omnichannel capabilities to create a seamless customer experience and modernize how the DA operates
- Data-Driven Adaptation: Continuously collect and analyze field insights to track the impact of activities, allowing for rapid strategy adjustments based on market feedback
- Resource & Portfolio Management: Lead portfolio prioritization and trade-off decisions while allocating the right expertise and resources to maximize team engagement
- Ethics & Forecasting: Contribute to business forecasting (EDP & BP) while ensuring all activities maintain high ethical standards and full compliance with company SOPs
Clear Expectations and KPIs
- Strategic Commercial Leadership: You are accountable for translating organizational goals into actionable commercialization strategies. This includes optimizing patient flows, setting DA ambitions, and delivering measurable business results through marketing excellence and accelerated access
- Collaborative Network Integration: You act as a primary point of contact for the broader network, sharing responsibility with ecosystem, medical, and access leads to design and execute unified implementation plans based on field insights
- Compliance & Safety Stewardship: You are responsible for the timely completion of all role-specific training and must ensure the immediate reporting of all product safety information (Pharmacovigilance) in accordance with Roche SOPs and local regulations
Who You Are
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Life Sciences, Medical or health related field
- 6+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry, with a strong background in a mid- senior role in sales, medical, marketing or any business-related function
- A Masters degree in Public Health, PharmD or MBA is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional strategic initiatives
- Experience in commercial or Marketing environment
