Role Description
Experience 3-5 years
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Accountant located in Amman. The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing accounts, managing budgets, and forecasting financial trends. Daily tasks will include overseeing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, ensuring tax compliance, preparing financial reports, and assisting in audits. The role also involves supporting departmental financial planning and providing insights to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting and IFRS
- Experience with financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks or other accounting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Familiarity with the local finance regulations in Jordan is advantageous
