Job Description:
The role of the Chief Accountant Department aims to ensure the provision of effective and well-organized financial support that aligns with the company’s financial and administrative objectives, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and achieving transparency and efficiency in the use of financial resources.
Dutes and Responsibilites:
- Preparing the company’s estimated (budgeted) budget
- Preparing cash management reports on a monthly basis
- Preparing administrative expense reports and comparing them with the estimated budget.
- Preparing the profit and loss statement on a monthly basis and comparing it with the estimated budget.
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS 17.
- Preparing reports showing the average claims for medical and motor insurance by client type or paying entity Supervising the finance team.
- Performing any other tasks assigned by the Department Director that are consistent with the nature of the position.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
8–10 years in the Jordanian insurance sector.
CMA, CPA, or any other relevant professional certifications.
