Job Summary
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership, operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic growth of the company in Jordan. The role ensures compliance with local regulations, high service quality, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth while leading and developing the management team and workforce.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s short- and long-term strategic plans aligned with
- market opportunities in Jordan.
- Identify new business opportunities, service lines, key accounts, and partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and customer needs to maintain a competitive
- edge.
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability and cost efficiency.
- Oversee all operational activities including field operations, service delivery, scheduling, and logistics.
- Ensure pest control services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for productivity, service quality, response time, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and handling of chemicals, equipment, and vehicles.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Monitor financial performance, cash flow, margins, and operating costs.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
- Optimize cost structures while maintaining service quality and safety standards.
- Ensure full compliance with Jordanian laws, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Environment, and Municipality regulations related to pest control activities.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, certifications, and inspections required for the company and technicians.
- Oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, including risk assessments and incident management.
- Oversee sales strategy, key account management, and contract negotiations (commercial, residential, industrial, and governmental clients)
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, effective complaint handling, and client retention.
- Approve pricing strategies, proposals, and major contracts.
- Support marketing initiatives to strengthen the company’s brand and market presence.
- Lead, coach, and develop the management team (Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, Technical).
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular performance reports to the Management covering operations, financials, risks, and growth initiatives.
- Identify and manage business risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure proper documentation, policies, and internal controls are in place.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Biology, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive management experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role.
- Previous experience in pest control, facilities management, environmental services, or a related service-based industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Jordanian regulations related to pest control, chemicals, health, and safety.

- Strong knowledge of compliance, health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Proactive risk identification and mitigation capabilities.
- Strong customer focus with proven ability to manage key accounts and resolve complaints effectively.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in Business English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and business systems (ERP, CRM, reporting tools).
- High level of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work independently and manage both office and field operations effectively.
