The Inventory Ordering Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing all inventory operations to ensure optimal stock levels and uninterrupted product availability. This role serves as the key indicator for reordering, monitoring total inventory including on-hand stock, incoming orders, and committed items to meet customer demand.
The position plays a critical role in maintaining accuracy, preventing shortages, and improving overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Place orders for phones and accessories (On-Order Inventory)
- Monitor and manage On-Hand Inventory levels
- Track, manage, and follow up on Backorders
- Ensure accurate inventory records and reporting
- Maintain proper inventory turnover using FIFO (First-In, First-Out)
- Coordinate with management to forecast and plan stock needs
- Identify inventory discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work aligned with U.S. time zones
- On site - full time
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
