Accountabilities & Key Roles:
- Analyze and interpret complex business requirements related to payment systems, And ensure that these requirements are probably documented to develop innovative product solutions.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including IT, business lines, compliance and Risk to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for new payment products or enhancements to existing offerings.
- Develop detailed product specifications and business cases to support new product initiatives and enhancements, recognizes the potential automation of the processes by determining ROI of the automation and in line with related departments.
- Track post-implementation performance and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for payment products, working closely with compliance teams.
- Provide expert guidance and support to operational teams on product usage and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to the development of enterprise-wide payment strategies and initiatives.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate internal teams on new payment products and updates.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners to facilitate product development and support.
- Proactively identifies, resolves and escalates risks / issues to the direct Products Operations Lead / Unit Head as and when appropriate
- Acts as a subject matter expert for the products and services under governance, by ensuring full technical understanding of the products including transformation, processes, systems and regulations.
- Lead efforts to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs related to payment product delivery.
- Oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing) planning and execution in collaboration with QC and business users.
- Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing to product analysts, supporting their development and productivity.
- Ensure policies and procedures are updated and reflects the actual process of newly implemented solutions.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in product analysis or management within the financial services industry, specifically in payments.
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of payment systems, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
