Job Purpose:
Manage and oversee the maintenance and services of company facilities to ensure they fully support operational requirements and employee well‑being. Additionally, manage Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operations and coordination of equipment deployment to guarantee the efficient and safe handling of aircraft servicing equipment, while maintaining strict compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, schedule work activities and assign personnel to projects on the facility buildings, equipment, or grounds of the company.
- Promote and practice a safety culture amongst teams and participate in quality improvements activities.
- Assist Director in achieving and/or exceeding financial, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction goals.
- Advise businesses on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility
- Supervise teams and/or personnel across different divisions
- Ensure that basic facilities are well-maintained and conduct proactive maintenance
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of ground service equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and safety standards.
- Coordinate the deployment of ground service equipment to meet the operational needs of aircraft servicing.
- Ensure that all GSE operations comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage the GSE budget, including maintenance costs and equipment upgrades, and Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage relationships with external vendors providing maintenance services for GSE.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective services.
- Develop and implement training programs for GSE operators and maintenance personnel.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or any related field
- Professional certifications preferred (Facility Management Professional, Certified Facility Manager, International Powered Access Federation, etc.).
- Must maintain a valid Jordanian driver’s license.
- 10-15 years of proven expertise in facilities management and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operations.
- Advanced knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical machine requirements.
- Well‑versed in engineering operations and industry best practices for effective facility management.
- Skilled in vehicle operation, maintenance, and fleet management processes.
- In‑depth knowledge of both powered and non‑powered aircraft ground support equipment.
- Good command of MS Office Suite and related computer applications.
- Expert in planning and executing AM, PM, and TBM.
- Exceptional command of the English, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, resolve issues, and consistently meet deadlines while staying within budget.
- Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours to ensure operational continuity.
