Role Description
The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing project finances, budgeting, and financial reporting. Daily tasks include preparing financial reports, overseeing project accounts, tracking project expenses, and ensuring compliance with company financial policies. The role requires coordination with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting and financials. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, Jordan.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and financial management skills, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Quickbox is a must
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of project-specific financial management, particularly in the construction or interior design industry
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience working in the construction or interior design sector is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with project teams
- Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable
