Bank of Jordan is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Processes Reengineering & Procedures Officer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements
- Assist in the development and documentation of standardized procedures and process maps that comply with industry regulations
- Collaborate with various departments to gather insights, understand operational challenges, and propose effective solutions
- Participate actively in process improvement initiatives, potentially utilizing methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Support the training and onboarding of staff regarding new processes, procedures, and tools for effective implementation
- Monitor process performance metrics and contribute to evaluations aimed at further enhancements
- Prepare concise reports and presentations that summarize process analyses, findings, and recommendations for management review
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in process improvement to contribute innovative ideas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
- More than 4 years of experience in process improvement, operational analysis, or a related role, preferably within the banking sector
- Basic understanding of process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with process mapping tools
- A proactive approach and a mindset geared toward continuous improvement
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
