Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing ones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and launch new investment products.
- Work closely with technology teams and relevant stakeholders to develop and ensure seamless integration of WM platforms which cater various CB segments, enhancing the overall client experience.
- Observe the entire product lifecycle from ideation to retirement, including pricing strategies, feature prioritization, and regulatory compliance.
- Observe the market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices related to investment products.
- Work with internal stakeholders (PB, AB invest, ABS, Treasury, IT, Compliance, legal and risk), external partners/Third parties, and key clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Support relationship managers, financial advisors, and other client-facing teams to effectively promote and sell investment products.
- Assist in Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with product design, distribution, and performance.
- Assist in preparing product-related policies and procedures for WM offering, ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements.
- Present and advocate for WM offering of various CB segments in different markets.
- Provide training and educational material to internal teams and clients on WM products and services, including investment strategies, product features, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the product management function.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA, CFA.
Experience:
- Extensive experience (5- 7 years) in product management, investment management, or related roles within the banking or financial services industry.
Competencies:
- Deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
- Very good analytical skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
