KPMG is currently seeking to hire an experienced Consultant for a permanent opportunity to work with our Risk Consulting function.
Job Role & Responsibilities: -
- Perform advisory services to implement risk framework and system for financial institutions.
- Implement credit and market risk related data analysis, model building, policy document writing, etc. (covering issues such as IRB modeling technique and IFRS9 impairment model, Basel and BOT requirement, ICAAP, IFRS9, provisioning and other risk management issues)
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
- Working on a diverse range of quantitative and qualitative modelling engagements across multiple industries using various modelling methodologies.
- Build strong internal relationships within Advisory and across other services.
- Handle multiple/simultaneous engagements.
Skills & Experience: -
- Degree, Bachelors or master's in finance, financial engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Consulting, banking, professional financial services advisory, or other risk management department in financial institutions.
- Programming experience in SAS, R, Matlab, Python, Bloomberg, VBA, C, C# (or other high-level programming language) highly desirable.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to solve new and technically challenging problems, either independently or as part of a small team.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and presentation capability
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
