Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Sahab. The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management teams to provide accurate financial data that supports decision-making and continuous improvement in recycling operations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in general accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, including data analysis and report generation.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and basic tax and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, recycling, or industrial environments is beneficial.
