Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in a full-time, on-site role located in Amman, Jordan. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, prepare accurate financial statements, manage budgets, ensure compliance with local regulations, and conduct thorough financial analysis. Responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supervising audit processes. The role requires collaboration with cross-departmental teams to ensure accurate financial management and support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Knowledge of local regulatory compliance and tax regulations
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong organizational skills
- Experience managing general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Effective communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification like CPA or CMA is a plus
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the agricultural or manufacturing sector
