What ACES is Looking For?
ACES is looking for an experienced Senior Training and Development Officer to become part of our team in Jordan.
Job Summary:
Support the ACES Academy by designing, delivering, evaluating, and improving training and development programs across the Group. The Senior Training & Development Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end training cycle, coordinating with internal departments and external providers, maintaining Academy records, ensuring training quality, and contributing to the continuous enhancement of the Academy’s offerings and curriculum.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Managerial Duties:
- Support the Academy Coordinator in implementing ACES Academy strategies, policies, and annual training plans.
- Coordinate with HR teams in all branches to collect training needs, training plans, and post-training feedback.
- Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and yearly training reports, KPIs, and analytics for management review.
- Assist in managing the Academy budget, including quotations, invoices, training costs, and financial tracking.
- Liaise with external training providers, consultants, universities, and regulatory bodies to schedule and deliver programs.
- Maintain and update the Academy’s training calendar, ensuring smooth scheduling and communication with participants.
Technical Duties:
- Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) at the Group and branch levels in coordination with HR and Department Heads.
- Design, develop, and update training materials, presentations, handbooks, manuals, and e-learning content.
- Deliver internal training sessions, workshops, and onboarding modules when required.
- Support the development and maintenance of e-learning modules and the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ensure proper training logistics—venue setup, equipment readiness, materials preparation, attendance sheets, certificates, etc.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using structured assessment tools, surveys, knowledge checks, and ROI-related indicators.
- Maintain accurate training records, training hours, budgets, attendance logs, and vendor databases.
- Assist in developing and enhancing the ACES Academy profile, marketing content, course catalog, and promotional materials.
- Ensure compliance with ACES training standards, international requirements (e.g., for trainee driver training), and internal policies.
- Support talent development initiatives and internship programs through coordination, session support, assessments, and reporting.
- Prepare all required forms, memos, reports, and Academy documentation.
- Issue attendance reports, follow-up reminders, pre/post-training communication, and training certificates.
- Track annual training plan progress, including completed hours, participation rates, departmental gaps, and interventions needed.
- Analyze post-training feedback and propose improvements to curriculum, trainers, and delivery methods
Reporting To:
This position will directly report to the Group HR Manager.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in L&D / Training (e.g., CPTD, ATD, CIPD L&D, Train-the-Trainer) are an advantage.
- 6-10 years of experience in the field of Training & Development or Training Centers
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Experience in course design, facilitation, and training operations management.
- Experience working with e-learning platforms or LMS solutions is preferred
- Strong knowledge of modern and traditional training methods.
- Experience in designing training programs and content development.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong report-writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), LMS platforms, and digital learning tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
