We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Officer to join our growing company to deal with business-to-business customers in the educations sector. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success in sales and business development and a strong understanding of the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Reaching out to prospective clients through e-mails and calls
- Conducting demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and value of your offerings to educational institutions
- Identifying new business opportunities and establishing relationships with potential clients
- Acting as the main point of contact with customers to provide ongoing support, address concerns, and act as a liaison
- Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales targets
- Building and maintaining a strong network of industry contacts
- Conducting market research to stay up to date on industry trends and competitors
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of sales plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or sales is preferable
- Up to 3 years of experience in business development in the B2B sector
- Experience in K-12 Education is preferable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships and network effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
