The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving DigiZag’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding client portfolios, and building strong partnerships across the MENA region. This role integrates core growth functions such as performance optimization, data-driven strategy, and market expansion to ensure DigiZag achieves its revenue and partnership targets.
This Role requires the ability to travel to the GCC region when needed as part of DigiZag's market expansion and client engagement efforts.
Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategic Development
● Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify high‑value business opportunities.
● Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with DigiZag’s overall growth objectives.
● Expand DigiZag’s presence by entering new markets and strengthening relationships in existing ones.
● Create digital sales strategies for agencies and direct clients across the MENA region.
● Lead business development initiatives to onboard new brands and develop effective strategies to achieve client goals.
Performance Optimization
● Monitor and analyze KPIs, revenue results, and partner performance to identify areas for improvement.
● Prepare and review monthly performance reports, ensuring alignment between BD activities and overall company targets.
● Develop strategies to improve conversion rates, client retention, and overall performance effectiveness.
Partnership Expansion
● Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliate partners, publishers, influencers, and strategic clients.
● Identify potential high‑value partners to expand DigiZag’s partnership network.
● Collaborate with Partnership Managers to align BD initiatives with partnership growth strategies.
Data Driven Decision Making
● Utilize analytics tools and data insights to support decision‑making and refine business development strategies.
● Adjust BD approaches based on real‑time performance data and market behavior.
● Prepare reports that communicate performance insights and growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
● Collaborate closely with Operations, Growth, and Partnerships teams to ensure alignment between BD strategies and company goals.
● Ensure clear communication of client needs and project requirements across internal departments.
● Promote a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement within DigiZag.
Relationship Oversight
● Oversee and manage ongoing relationships with key clients.
● Ensure consistent communication, follow-up, and support to maintain strong long-term partnerships.
Other Duties
● Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support DigiZag’s partnership and growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales, and marketing, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role managing teams. Experience working with various CRM systems such as HubSpot, proficiency in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator for lead generation and outreach, and experience with performance marketing pricing models , including CPL , CPS , and CPI.
- Background: Strong exposure to business development, client acquisition, performance-based partnerships, and publisher networks.
- Language: Proficiency in English (Written & Spoken).
