Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain strong compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. The Finance Manager will lead the accounting team, manage budgeting and costing processes, and provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and comprehensive experience in financial planning, production costing, and operational finance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing financial performance and guiding the company toward continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage and oversee the costing process to ensure accurate production cost allocation.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective or cost-saving actions.
- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of production-related budgets.
- Provide management with regular budget performance reports and actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, audit requirements, and internal company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required reports and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and operations teams to streamline financial workflows.
- Train, supervise, and guide junior accountants to elevate team performance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems, workflows, and reporting tools.
- Implement strategies to improve accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies for audits and financial assessments.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
- 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and overseeing accounting functions.
- Strong experience with ERP systems and financial software.
- Solid understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
