We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong background in accounting and finance systems to join our growing Client. You will partner with the Head of Product and cross-functional teams (Finance, Tech, Sales, Customer Success) to design and launch our next-generation billing engine and revenue lifecycle architecture.
This role bridges business, finance, product, and engineering to ensure our CRM-to-Billing-to-ERP flow is scalable, audit-ready, and seamless.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Finance, Product, Tech, Sales Ops, and Customer Success to map end-to-end processes: contract → invoice → activation → revenue recognition → AR → commission.
- Define, document, and validate business requirements, functional specifications, data models, and system handoffs.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to identify gaps, risks, and dependencies.
- Partner with Product/Tech to design billing logic: payment methods, activation events, discounts, refunds, tax/VAT treatment, and multi-currency flows.
- Coordinate integrations: CRM → Billing Engine → RevRec → ERP → BI dashboards, ensuring clean data, audit logs, and accountability.
- Assist in UAT, exception handling, reconciliation, and reporting on key metrics.
- Provide training and maintain documentation for new workflows.
What We are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 3–5+ years in business analysis, preferably in finance/accounting system implementations or SaaS/subscription billing systems.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, revenue recognition (IFRS 15/ASC 606), GL posting, and VAT in the GCC context.
- Experience translating business logic into system rules, data models, and integration flows.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with some ambiguity.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SaaS billing engines (Zuora, Chargebee) and CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Multi-entity/multi-currency ERP or accounting system experience (Xero, QuickBooks).
- Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, API flows, BI tools (Power BI, Looker), and system automation.
- Experience in emerging markets or cash-based transaction models.
