Global Business Development Manager Company: Dawai Pharmaceutical Industries Reporting to: General Manager Location: Flexible / Remote with regular coordination in Jordan
Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities
Drive international market expansion with focus on Middle East & North Africa (MENA), Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Eastern Europe, and additional mutually agreed territories.
Identify, evaluate, and appoint qualified distributors in target markets.
Lead negotiations and finalize distribution agreements in line with company quality and commercial standards.
Define the optimal product portfolio and recommend competitive pricing strategies for each market.
Develop initial sales targets and conduct preliminary market feasibility studies in collaboration with prospective partners.
Represent the company at international pharmaceutical exhibitions, conferences, and trade events; deliver presentations and promotional activities as required.
Execute all business development, sales growth, and pharmaceutical marketing activities in assigned regions.
Prepare comprehensive 3- to 5-year sales forecasts for each target country in cooperation with appointed distributors.
Identify and secure agreements with manufacturing partners for private-label products, ensuring they meet sales and growth objectives.
Uphold and enhance Dawai’s commercial reputation and marketing quality to achieve the highest international standards of customer and patient satisfaction.
Contribute strategically to the company’s global vision by participating in planning and execution of regional and worldwide growth initiatives.
Compensation Package
Monthly compensation is based upon experience.
Monthly transportation & communication allowance
Country-opening bonus per new country (upon distributor appointment + first purchase order)
Annual health insurance reimbursement: limited to 500 JOD
Performance-based sales incentive tied to revenue generated from target markets
Reimbursement of approved international business travel expenses
Requirements
Pharmaceuticals degree.
Proven track record in international pharmaceutical business development and distributor network expansion
Deep knowledge of MENA, GCC, and/or Eastern European pharmaceutical markets
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills
Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results
Willingness to travel internationally as needed
Full compliance with confidentiality obligations (5-year post-termination duration)
