Business Unit Overview
The Financial Crime team within Forensics provides a wide range of advisory services to banking and financial institutions across the region. Our offerings include anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CFT), sanctions compliance, fraud prevention, and financial crime technology enablement. We help clients define risk appetites, develop frameworks, conduct AML reviews, and align systems with regulatory expectations.
How You’ll Contribute
As a Senior Consultant – Financial Crime, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting engagement teams on projects related to AML, CFT, sanctions, and fraud risk management
- Advising clients on financial crime risk, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks
- Delivering business insights through written reports, presentations, and data visualizations
- Developing strategies to help clients adapt to legal, regulatory, and industry changes
- Preparing proposals and delivering presentations to prospective and existing clients
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and executives
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions
- Contributing to knowledge sharing and capability development within the team
What You’ll Bring
- 3–6 years of experience in financial services, preferably in compliance or financial crime
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology, or a related field
- ACAMS certification or equivalent is a plus
- Experience in the Middle East is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (verbal and written), with ability to articulate concepts and recommendations clearly
- Your flexibility to travel 60% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required. Where possible, we will take your preferences into account and strike a balance between meeting your career development/personal needs and those of the business and our clients
