Job Summary
The Customer Experience & Shipping Operations Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day customer interactions, data entry, and operational coordination to ensure a smooth client experience. This role plays a vital part in maintaining customer satisfaction, ensuring timely responses, and supporting cargo logistics processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, pricing, delivery schedules, and services.
- Monitor and track shipments from pickup to final delivery.
- Troubleshoot shipment issues, delays, and coordinate with all relevant parties to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage post-service customer experience and ensure client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with drivers and warehouse teams for pickup and delivery processes.
- Update tracking systems regularly and keep customers informed about shipment status.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on shipment movement and customer feedback.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate complex cases when required.
- Suggest operational improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related fields.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in customer service, operations, or logistics is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle different customer types.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
