Job Summary:
The Logistics Officer is responsible for ensuring that all products are correctly registered with relevant government authorities for export and import, and for managing related logistics and inventory operations. This role coordinates shipments, maintains accurate inventory records, monitors stock levels, and works closely with warehouse, repacking, suppliers, and external logistics partners to ensure regulatory compliance and timely delivery.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has proven experience in logistics coordination and inventory management, a strong knowledge of import/export regulatory requirements, and hands-on familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems. They are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of coordinating with multiple internal departments and external logistics providers. Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage documentation and compliance tasks accurately are essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
- Manage inventory records for registered products.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory.
- Collaborate with warehouse and repacking teams to ensure proper storage and handling of products.
- Track and report stock movements, discrepancies, and forecast needs based on seasonal demand.
- Ensure logistics partners comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any related field.
- Experience in logistics coordination and inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
- Attention to detail in documentation and compliance with import/export regulations.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills for stock tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and logistics platforms.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external logistics providers.
- Good knowledge of local regulations and legislations for Seeds’ products. (Optional)
