Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic
Sales Manager to lead and oversee the entire Sales department, drive revenue growth, and achieve business objectives. This pivotal role involves developing and executing robust sales strategies, setting ambitious performance targets, meticulously managing the sales pipeline, and ensuring the sales team consistently meets or exceeds its goals. The Sales Manager will play a key role in aligning sales operations with the overall company strategy, motivating team members, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall sales strategy, ensuring consistent execution across the team.
- Set sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive team accountability and performance.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and lead regular reporting efforts to track progress against goals.
- Coach, train, and mentor Sales Supervisors and Team Leaders to build a high-performing sales force.
- Participate in high-value negotiations and key client meetings to support revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to align sales efforts with campaign objectives.
- Recommend opportunities for automation or workflow enhancements to streamline operations.
- Develop and manage sales forecasts and budget planning to ensure financial targets are met.
- Design and implement incentive programs and commission structures that motivate performance.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key industry partners, distributors, or resellers.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, academic standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide regular 1:1 coaching and identify skill gaps, coordinating professional development opportunities tailored to the team's needs.
Minimum Requirements
Requirement Details Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in Business or a relevant field.
(MBA is preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum Experience10+ Years of experience in Sales, with
at least 4 years at a managerial or leadership level.
Team Management Experience managing a team of
40+ subordinates, including Supervisors and Team Leaders.
LanguagesFluency in
English and
Arabic (speaking and writing).
Required Technical Competencies
- Strong expertise in strategic sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Skilled in target setting and performance tracking using KPIs and sales metrics.
- Proficient in using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM for lead and customer tracking.
- Competent in sales analytics and reporting tools including Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Experienced in sales enablement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is a plus.
