About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grants and Partnerships Senior Officer / Manager to strengthen our fundraising, donor relations, and partnership management efforts. This role will lead proposal development, grant oversight, and strategic partnerships across PNT’s programs in heritage preservation, education, and climate resilience.
The position bridges internal coordination and external engagement, working closely with Finance, M&E, Operations, and Communications teams. The title (Officer or Manager) will be based on experience and demonstrated leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities from institutional donors, foundations, embassies, and corporate partners.
- Lead drafting and coordination of concept notes, proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation.
- Develop and manage corporate fundraising initiatives, sponsorship packages, and partnership proposals.
- Coordinate internal inputs with Finance, M&E, and Program teams to ensure technical, financial, and monitoring coherence.
- Maintain accurate records, including grant and partnership trackers, reporting calendars, and donor databases.
- Support negotiations and formalization of partnership agreements, contracts, and MoUs.
- Prepare and submit high-quality narrative reports in coordination with relevant departments.
- Contribute to institutional learning through audits, evaluations, and donor debriefs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Development, International Relations, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in fundraising, proposal development, or donor management within NGOs or development organizations.
- Proven success in securing institutional, corporate, or foundation funding.
- Experience designing and delivering corporate partnership or sponsorship strategies.
- Strong financial literacy; experience in budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in Arabic and English.
- Familiarity with donor compliance systems, M&E frameworks, and financial reporting.
- Strong coordination and communication skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge or experience in heritage preservation, cultural development, or climate resilience is a plus.
